Literally round the corner is the Pavilion Theatre which plays host to a variety of family shows, comedies, musicals and pantomimes. Renowned for its electrifying atmosphere it has played host to the UK's finest performers. Another city centre venue is the Kings Theatre, a much-loved venue of West End and Broadway musicals and classical ballet. It offers the best of Christmas pantomime, featuring many Scottish greats and provides a high profile stage for local amateur groups.

The Citizen's Theatre is internationally recognised for presenting a challenging programme, attracting audiences from far and wide. Hosting resident and touring productions, it houses three theatres in one and offers a truly unique theatre experience. The Tron Theatre is based in the Merchant City area of Glasgow and is easily identified by its 16th century church steeple. It presents a programme of visiting work from Scotland along with home produced shows, music, comedy and children's workshops.

Situated on the city's south side, the Tramway Theatre, is a leading visual and contemporary arts venues in Glasgow, offering unique space including a hidden garden. Equally, visitors can treat themselves to a fantastic evening of entertainment at the Arches, the Jongleurs, the Stand Comedy Club and many other fantastic venues offering live performances on any given night of the week.
